The Day of Silence was set up to support a project that helps deaf children in Gambia, Africa.
This year's Day of Silence is taking place on Wednesday 25 January and the Day of Silence Evening is on Friday 27 January. We hope that students will enjoy the day and support each other in the classroom to make it a successful experience while at the same time raising a sum of money that really can make a difference.
Massive congratulations are in order for our Under 15 Girls' Basketball squad who triumphed in their County Cup semi-final with an 86-4 victory. Great attacking play and solid defending saw the girls run out comfortable winners and the massive smiles certainly told a story. Their opponents are unknown at this time but the confidence boost that this victory brings cannot be under-estimated as they now prepare for the final.
The de Ferrers Academy Boys’ Table Tennis Team were crowned ‘Zonal Champions’ of the English Schools Table Tennis Team Championships in Bradford on Sunday.
