This week in Frog we have grown even more:

- Several dozen students have signed up for jobs next term as radio station presenters, news crews, sports reporters, games designers and FrogAgents…well done!

- You can now enter the FrogBox..our interactive suggestion box & voting booth. You can find the FrogBox in the Student Voice section of the VLE. This week’s topical vote…who will win X-Factor? Vote now…

- Gifted & Talented now have their own mini-website for students to access resources and links.

- Science have added the Science Blog to their revision pages. Read it here: http://defscience.wordpress.com/. You can check out what the science staff & students have been looking at and recommending…

COMING NEXT WEEK…improvements and additions to the Student Voice section, including the Council Pages and IAG gets activated…!



Week 5…still leaping forwards…

Our Frog VLE has now been going for 5 weeks and we’ve had an average of 850 users a day, looking at over 350,000 pages since we started…wow!

Well done to the several dozen students that submitted their concerns & ideas to the Climate Challenge, via Frog & Mrs Hewitt.  We’re also getting a steady stream of students applying for FrogJobs…keep it coming and we’ll get in touch after Christmas.

Students can now get information & advice on e-safety and in January we will have the full IAG site up for them to use.

Our Governors’ VLE site is now live and ready for them to use.

WHAT NEXT?

  • Next week our Sign Language and Gifted & Talented websites will be appearing
