Course Outline: This is a one year course containing a significant number of practical elements which will involve you working as both an individual and in a team. You will complete a range of tasks that will build upon your food practical skills and knowledge.
Throughout this year long course you will have the opportunity to gain two national qualifications as shown below.
Target Level: Any student gaining a National Curriculum level 3 or better in Design and Technology.
Level of Award: The Bronze Stem Award - You could be awarded a pass, merit or distinction.
OCR Entry level certificate - You could be awarded a level 1, level 2 or level 3.
End of Course Target: To access GCSE Food Technology which would be by gaining at least a Pass in the Stem Award, and at least level 2 in the OCR Entry Level certificate.
