Course Outline:
This is a two year course designed for students who have a passion for Dance. If you enjoy Dance and have a talent in performing then you can now get a qualification for it! You will study choreography, appreciation of Dance and performances in individual and group dances.

Target Level: Assessment to gain the GCSE is based on;
Practical Performance of a solo set Dance (20%).
1 hour exam at the end of Year 9 (20%).
Group Dance Performance (20%).
Choreography of a solo and a group Dance (40%).
Practical Performance of a solo set Dance (20%).

Level of Award:
