Curriculum Area: Creative Arts


Course Outline:
This is an exciting course for students who love art and have the skills and enthusiasm to succeed. It is a two year course consisting of two units.

Unit 1- Portfolio (Coursework) this is worth 60% of your final grade.
Unit 2- Set Task (Exam) is a Practical Exam this is worth 40%. The exam paper gives you a choice of themes. You will have 6-8 weeks prep time. The exam is 10 hours spread over a few days. In that time you will create your final result.

Target Level: Any student gaining a level 5 or better in Art and Design, with skills and passion for the subject.
