OCR Nationals Preparatory Course
Curriculum Area: ICT & Enterprise
Course Outline:
This is a one year course where you will complete 6 projects, which will adequately prepare you for the challenges of OCR Nationals (ICT for Business) in Year 10 and 11. Throughout the year you will use various pieces of software to complete your projects such as; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Outlook Express and Windows MovieMaker.
To gain a PASS you will demonstrate a basic understanding of all the Microsoft software you will use.
To gain a MERIT you will create effective documents using all the Microsoft software you learn about.
To gain a DISTINCTION you will use the software provided to produce documents of an excellent quality.
