Course Outline: Psychology is the study of (ology) the mind (Psyche). You have two years in which to study the different areas of Psychology and think about how they relate to the real world.

It is important that you have a good level of Mathematics and English to complete the required written work and statistics needed for research methods.
Target Level: Any student gaining an average grade of C or above.
Level of Award: GCSE.
End of Course Target: To access to AS & A2 Psychology - 'C' or better. To access to Health & Social Care - 'C' or better.
To gain skills that are attractive to employers because they develop a number of transferable skills. For example, problem solving, oral and written communication, numeracy and statistical skills, critical and creative thinking, decision making, organisational skills, team working, and IT skills.
