The Science Curriculum area had continued to raise its profile with numerous workshops and events, including:
- 1st Annual Science lecture by Dr David Evans on CERN and Particle Physics
- Live video-conference for Y10 and Y12 Physics students with Dr Mick Storr at CERN, Switzerland
- Hands-on workshops and demonstrations in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for students and parents
- Displays of student work
